The ecobee thermostats aren’t just a regular thermostat. It comes with a smart voice commands feature that allowing you to ask Alexa to control ecobee in just one sentence away. Make sure you enable the ecobee and Alexa integration first, then you can try some of these command examples.
Note: Some commands might only available on ecobee plus.
“Alexa, what’s the thermostat temperature?”
“Alexa, what’s the (thermostat name) temperature?”
“Alexa, set the thermostat to 72 degrees.”
“Alexa, raise the temperature by 5 degrees.”
“Alexa, lower the temperature by 3 degrees.”
“Alexa, increase the temperature.”
“Alexa, decrease the (temperature name).”
“Alexa, ask ecobee the temperature.”
“Alexa, what’s the downstairs temperature?”
